AddStart HP Taq DNA Polymerase has high-performance amplification efficiency using hotstart fusion Taq DNA Polymerase. In addition, as a hot-start Taq DNA Polymerase combined with an monoclonal anti-Taq antibody, it can minimize primer dimers and non-specific amplification reactions and maximize the amplification efficiency of the target gene. AddStart HP Taq DNA Polymerase possesses 5'→3' exonuclease activity and very weak 3'→5' exonuclease activity. Additionally, since an A-tail is formed at the 3' end of the amplified DNA, a T-vector can be used for cloning using the amplification product. When utilizing AddStart HP Taq DNA Polymerase for PCR, 10 kb or less of amplification products can be obtained, and it is suitable for multiplex PCR, enabling the amplification of up to five targets simultaneously. The 10x reaction buffer contains various components to maximize the activity of the hot-start fusion Taq DNA Polymerase, along with 20 mM MgCl2.

AddStart HP Taq DNA Master (2x Conc.) is a pre-mixed product containing all essential components for PCR reactions, including AddStart HP Taq DNA Polymerase, Reaction Buffer (+Mg), dNTP mixture, gel loading dye (Xylene Cyanol FF), and enzyme stabilizers, are combined. AddStart HP Taq DNA Master (2x Conc.) ensures the same performance as the manual product and can produce 10 kb or less amplification products. Additionally, since an A-tail is formed at the 3' end of the amplified DNA, a T-vector can be used for cloning using the amplification product. AddStart HP Taq DNA Master is supplied in two forms of 1.0 mL per screw cap tube (Cat. No. 38101) and 10.0 μl per 8-strip tube (Cat. No. 38101SS).
